Interfaces
Line driver (RS422)
This symmetrical interface is always recommended if a high level of im-
munity and/or a long line length are required. The associated strand pairs
must be twisted to achieve maximum immunity.
This interface can also be used as an alternative to the TTL interface. In
this case, the inverted outputs are not used.

Push-pull output
The push-pull output is a combination of NPN and PNP outputs. Com-
pared with the Open Collector outputs (OC), the push-pull output is
characterized by its better slew rate and increased level of immunity. An
external circuit, such as is necessary with NPN or PNP, is not required.
In addition to improved immunity, this output also still has the inverted
channels. The main area of application for this output is that of medium
switching frequencies. The OC outputs can be replaced by this interface.
In this case, only the non-inverted signals are used.
