Stand-alone Read Heads
Along with IDENTControl, a wide selection of stand-alone system are available. These require no external controller at
all and can be connected directly to RS232, RS485, or Ethernet depending on model.

Read Heads and Tags
Pepperl+Fuchs RFID read heads and tags are divided into two series. Each series has specific advantages. Series Q
should be considered first because of the speed and low tag price. Series P should be considered next because of
the large read head selection System MT long-range RFID systems operate at 2.45 GHz and provide up to six meters of
read-range. The system is self-contained, with the reader and network interface integrated in a single industrial IP65
housing. They feature built-in Ethernet TCP/IP, RS232, and RS485 ports, along with integrated frequency hopping to
ensure maximum read-reliability.
IDENT I System P is a single read head solution with common industrial protocol connections. The universal read
head connects directly to the base of your choice. EtherNet and DeviceNet adapters are also available to connect to
your network. Reads all IPC tags operating at the 125 kHz frequency.
